The annual meetings of the participating societies take place within the framework of the SFCNS Congress. The motto of the congress 2025 is United for Brain Health. Together with the scientific committee - which are representatives of the 16 member societies - an exciting program is developed. The program beginning on Wednesday and ending on Friday evening consists of Plenary Sessions, Parallel Sessions, ePoster Sessions and Satellite Symposia.

Dans le cadre d’un partenariat public-privé, nous avons organisé un colloque mensuel réunissant les Neurochirurgiens des cliniques Hirslanden de Genève et des Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève, des chirurgiens indépendants, ainsi que des internes en formation des HUG, avec l’objectif de partager le savoir des uns et des autres et discuter de manière structurée des cas difficiles et complexes concernant la chirurgie du rachis.

This is the sixteenth edition of the course on the ‘Anatomy of White Matter’. The course is hands-on, each participant has a cerebral hemisphere and a cerebellar hemisphere with a brain stem prepared according to the Klingler protocol. Participants are taught how to dissect the white matter under a microscope. Dissection sessions are interspersed with lectures on topics of relevance to microneurosurgery.

We are pleased to invite you to the 8th Pediatric Neurosurgery Symposium at the University Children‘s Hospital Basel (UKBB). This year, we will delve into the highly relevant and often complex topic of syndromic and non-syndromic craniosynostosis in children. The aim of this symposium is to provide you with the latest insights into diagnosis, clinical decision-making, multidisciplinary care, and therapeutic approaches. To celebrate this extraordinary occasion in July, the Department of Neurosurgery at the University Hospital Zurich and the World Academy of Neurological Surgery are honored to invite you to the Yaşargil 100th Anniversary Symposium, dedicated to honoring Professor Yaşargil’s unparalleled contributions to neurosurgery.

Im Mikrochirurgischen Basiskurs in Basel werden Sie mit dem mikrochirurgischen Handwerkzeug und der Technik sowie den verschiedenen Möglichkeiten ihrer Anwendung vertraut gemacht. Unter Anleitung lernen Sie Gefäss- und Nervennähte an Übungsmodellen und Schweineherzen. Das Kurskonzept entspricht den von der Deutschsprachigen Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Mikrochirurgie (DAM) herausgegebenen Richtlinien und ist Bestandteil eines modularen Ausbildungssystems.
