Join us for the SYNS Vascular Symposium 2026 – Focus on Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery!
We are delighted to invite neurosurgical residents and young consultants to the next edition of the SYNS Vascular Symposium, an international educational meeting dedicated to learning, discussion, and multidisciplinary exchange in vascular neurosurgery.
This year’s theme: Cerebrovascular Surgery and Neurovascular Management – from Decision Making to Real Clinical Practice
Held from September 25th to 27th, 2026, in the beautiful setting of Hotel de la Paix Lugano, the symposium will gather leading neurosurgeons, interventional neuroradiologists and international vascular specialists for three days of highly interactive education. It is specifically designed to encourage active participation, critical thinking, and practical learning through open discussion and exchange of experience between faculty and participants.
What to Expect:
- High-level lectures by renowned vascular neurosurgeons and neurointerventional specialists
- Interactive debates on real clinical cases
- Multidisciplinary discussions between surgical and endovascular approaches
- Case-based sessions focused on aneurysms, AVMs, cavernomas, stroke, and vascular bypasses

- A mock exam session dedicated to young neurosurgeons preparing for board examinations
Young Neurosurgeons Abstract Contest 2026
Young neurosurgeons and residents are invited to submit their vascular neurosurgery abstracts and present their work during a dedicated interactive session. The best presentation will be awarded with the “Best Abstract SYNS Vascular Symposium 2026” prize, selected by the faculty panel.
